Programmes are now on sale at a number of locations across Berwickshire and will also be on sale at the Rally Forum in the Tait Hall in Kelso on Thursday evening the 30th.
The rally itself is based at Kelso on Friday and Saturday then moves to Duns for the Reivers on Sunday.
Access to the town-centre Duns Stage is free, but there will be charges at the Spectator Car Parks as indicated in the event Programme. The income from parking charges will be shared amongst local charitable organisations. Spectators and visitors are requested to use these as the Polis will be ensuring that main roads and link roads will not be obstructed by badly parked vehicles!
Unfortunately, official spectator points are limited. This is down to a number of reasons, not just difficulty in getting suitable sites, but also with a mind to the safety requirements of a running a closed public road rally. So don’t blame the organisers, they can only polish the paintwork they’ve got.
So if you do go out spectating please park sensibly, respect private property and the local householders. We need them more than they need you.
