… Dumfries & Galloway RSAC Scottish Rally, Sat 23 June 2022 …
With four rounds gone and four to go Saturday’s Dumfries & Galloway RSAC Scottish Rally marks a crucial stage in this year’s KNC Groundworks Scottish Championship series. Two drivers seemingly have an awfy firm grip on the race for the Scottish crown, but in reality there is still all to drive for.
David Bogie currently leads the series by five points from Michael Binnie but they have both scored on all four rounds so far, whereas their main rivals such as Jock Armstrong, Freddie Milne, Mark McCulloch and David Henderson haven’t although they do need to catch up. And that must start this weekend.
Ahead lie six Special Stages totalling some 42 miles of flat out motoring through the Dumfries & Galloway greenery contained in a short 147 mile route so it will keep the pressure on.
First car leaves the Lockerbie Lorry Park Start at 09.00 Hrs on Saturday morning and is expected to finish around 16:10 Hrs in Moffat Main Street later that afternoon. There will be two Service Halts during the day at Lockerbie Lorry Park at 10.57 Hrs and 14.24 Hrs.
Remember, on this event, the two wheel drive cars run at the front in reverse order, followed immediately by four wheel drive brigade in conventional seeding order.
