08 Jun: Summer Stages – Entry List

 … Summer Stages Rally, Sat 11th June, 2022 …

John Rintoul and Ross Hynd head the entry for this Saturday’s Summer Stages Rally at Crail tucked away in the north east corner of Fife. Last won by them in a Fiesta R5 in 2019 (before Covid struck!), they are entered this weekend in a MINI JCW WRC, but the whole top ten looks quite tasty.

And there’s more. There’s a few (later?) entries at the tail end of the field which might necessitate a different running order on the day of the rally.

Competitors will tackle 8 stages totalling some 70 miles of timed running with the event counting towards three main championships – the Scottish Tarmac Rally Championship, the North of England Rally Championship and the newer Scottish Single Venue Rally Championship (SSVRC).

Spectators are welcome at Crail (there’s a usually an entrance charge at the gate) but access to the stage itself is restricted although at least two viewing areas will be created which usually allow a pretty good view of the day’s proceedings.

First Car Starts 08:30 hrs Saturday morning 11th June.
